Diablo 3 corrupted ashbringer wiki2/21/2024 None of the legendaries that have been added to the game has so far fitted the paladin class DESPITE being class spesific to paladins, warriors and rogues only (as thunderfury) We get the 1 legendary that honestly is the crappies one of all for a paladin. The best waepon they can use besides quel'serrar is Thunderfury. we have those fury warriors, but you honestly dont want alot of those, you want warriors that can keep aggro take a few heals and stay alive. they use 1h like quel'serrar and a decent shield to have as much armor up as possible. Tanks do 1 thing, they take the worst damage away from the rest of the raid. I agree that paladins dont have the best use of this, but we paladins dont only need 2h for pvp, I use 2h quite alot in pve endgame aswell.Īs for warriors, ill agree that they give amazing dps at times, but if they are TANKS they have NO USE FOR IT! True you mention that they are sometimes forced into melee situations, but they still need weapons that actually add to their overall attack power like that big ass sword that neffy drop (and there are similar ones in Naxx) The distribution of Legendary items should not be based on dice rolls (or even necessarily DKP), but on who has contributed the most to a guild's success and will make the most beneficial use of them.Ĭomment by ThottbotHunters have little to no use of this weapon. A Paladin in full Avenger wielding this baby would dish out some very sweet damage, if not necessarily as much as an Arms or Fury Warrior in Conqueror/Annihilation. Retribution Paladins will be valuable in PvE for their ability to increase the damage of their party/raid, and if you're going to have the token Retnoob (just like the token Oomkin), you might as well give them the chance to get some decent gear for the job. The true, legendary version of this sword won't become available until the expansion, and all classes are being given revamped roles. However, it is clearly not a tanking weapon, due to two small facts: 1) it's got a -25 Stamina penalty, and 2) it's a freaking two hander! Comment by ThottbotWhile this weapon clearly belongs to Paladins by reason of lore, I would not begrudge it to a Warrior who had sufficient DKP to purchase it.
